To further Erie’s “Go Local” platform designed to reach beyond traditional advertising by connecting with consumers while out in the community.


Green Gears designed and executed the “Seriously Good Summer” campaign. Complimentary services included: shuttle rides surrounding large community events, snow cones distributed in a popular local park, and tune-up stations for cyclists along Pittsburgh’s Great Allegheny Passage. A winter extension of these services provided free shuttle rides through mall footprints for holiday shoppers.


150 hours of free services, complimentary of Erie Insurance, led to 4.1 million potential views, and 140,000 first hand impressions.
